Frank and Michelle Knight, owners of Adventures by the Sea, along with “Dr.” Bill Jones and Michael LaPage, headed down south this past weekend to try out their SUP skills at the Battle of the Paddle SUP race event.  Each participated in the “Open” category 4 mile race and as a team (Team Adventures by the Sea) competed in the relay.  No medals were awarded but we all did place in the top 10 in our age categories (except Michelle who got 12th!).  It was an amazing event!  Stand up Paddleboarding is charging into the future as an all around sport for the entire family.  Next on our list . . . Battle of the Bay in San Francisco at the end of October!
