Below is a list of our most common activities. If you don’t see the perfect activity reach out and we will plan something unique just for your group!
Recreational Adventures
Our kayak, bike, and hiking tours are great group adventures for those seeking a nature activity.
Kayak Tours
Have your group venture out into the bay! Our guides lead your guests on an exploration of the natural wonders of the Monterey Bay in this two and half-hour adventure. You can leave from any of our shops or even Stillwater Cove for a different twist.
E-Bike Tours
Our electric bikes are the perfect way to explore Monterey Bay. Whether you pick up a rental or book an electric bike tour, you’re sure to have a blast on these easy and fun e-bikes. With the beautiful Recreation Trail and 17-Mile Drive, there is so much to see in Monterey. Go farther on our e-bikes, which provide a boost when you need it.
Bike Tours
We can bring our bikes to you and start at your hotel, or you can come to us for an organized bike adventure for your team. Various routes can accommodate different levels of riders, and you can arrange a stop for lunch either at a local restaurant or park.
Hiking Tours
We offer guided tours of Garrapata and Point Lobos – two iconic Big Sur locations that will allow your group to really appreciate the spectacular scenery along our coast. Our bus can transport your group to the starting point and then you are off on the hike of a lifetime! Various levels of hiking ability can be accommodated, from a relaxing stroll to a rigorous climb.
The Great Monterey Scavenger Hunt
Get your group outside to see the highlights of Cannery Row and historic Monterey while working together in a competitive activity!
Our scavenger hunt includes several challenges where the teams seek out photo opportunities, physical evidence, and questions to answer about the area. We add some unique opportunities for extra points and voila! You have a great team event.
We can tailor this activity to cover any location, to leave from and return to any hotel or restaurant, and fill as much time as you have available. We can also incorporate bikes or surreys for an additional charge. Our staff tallies the scores of each group and awards ribbons to the winners and a gag prize to the last place team.
Bike Build for Charity
This two hour competitive activity is a great way for your group to coordinate, cooperate, compete and give back. We often coordinate with Boys and Girls Clubs of Monterey County and or The Salvation Army to donate the bikes.
We start with a 45 minute rev ‘em up activity that is your choice of The Great Monterey Scavenger Hunt along Cannery Row or Minute to Win It games on site at your venue. These activities set the tone for the day and gets all of the participants involved.
Each team is tasked with building a bike, with no directions, and adding a theme through decorations. Once complete each team picks two representatives to ride the bike (timed) through a basic set of cones with everyone cheering them on.
Beach Olympics
For the group that wants to get out and play.
This is one of the more competitive programs that we have, offering everything from beach volleyball and coconut bocce to kayak races and sandcastle projects. We work with you to tailor a Beach Olympics to match your group’s energy and athleticism. Our goal is to provide you with a platform for fun, camaraderie, and high morale.
Time: Customizable, but typically 2-3 hours. For groups of 15-400.
Challenge by the Sea
This is our cooperative team building program of group initiatives, designed to enhance effective teamwork by simulating real-life problem-solving situations. This program highlights the skills common to all winning teams – trust, cooperation, mutual support, commitment to common goals, communication, and accountability. The risk-free activities enhance individual and group problem-solving in a safe and supportive environment.
Time: Customizable, but typically 2-3 hours. Best for groups of 50 or less.
“Minute to Win it” Challenge
Let us put together a fun and wacky competition with simple household items! Based on the television show, we have teams compete in a series of challenges against each other and the clock. This activity can be a great addition to a reception or simply a program on its own at your hotel.
